We’re growing all the time, and need to grow our team too.
Insurance Translation Co-ordinator
Integro Languages is a growing, innovative translation service provider in the centre of Norwich. We are growing our insurance division and are looking to recruit translation co-ordinators. The insurance translation division provides services to claims teams and customer service departments of insurance companies around the world, often under urgent and emergency response conditions. The role is not necessarily 9 to 5 and could also potentially suit people looking for evening, weekend and flexible working patterns.
Salary £18k pro-rata.
Reporting to our Insurance Division Manager, the primary duties of the successful applicant will include:
Receiving translation requests from insurance industry clients
Assessing requests to understand the required workflow
Co-ordinating and managing the request as a project, from start to finish
Taking responsibility for delivering the completed translation in accordance with all company guidelines and quality imperatives
The ongoing development and management of Integro’s translator talent pool
Liaising with both translators and clients
Key skills and attributes:
As the role is heavily administration based, successful applicants will have strong organisation and administration skills, as well as a high level of both written and oral communication. The ability to conduct themselves professionally and clearly by email and telephone is essential. Speaking or having previous experience with a second language is desirable, but not essential.
Experience in, or an understanding of the insurance claims industry would also be an advantage, but training will be provided.
A hardworking and flexible approach to work, along with good team working skills will set candidates apart.
If you’re a talented linguist, with a passion for languages and a strong desire to do a job that matters, we would be very happy to hear from you.
Integro Languages is always open to applications from freelance translators, as well as in-house translator applications, depending on your languages and experience. We also have project management roles from time to time as well, and linguists are equally welcome to apply for these.
Obviously, we have tight standards here and all applications must be fully vetted, but feel free to get in touch and we’ll happily talk you it over.
All in-house roles will be based in our Norwich city centre office, working full-time office hours. Minimum qualifications are a degree in translation, with a preference for masters graduates. Translation experience, as freelance, in-house or volunteer would be highly advantageous as well.
Applicants will be tested, and clearly must have absolute mastery of both the target and source language. If you think you have the ability to provide high-quality, market ready translations that meet the expectations of our demanding clients, then we would love to hear from you.
Integro is a growing, fun and dynamic place to work, and has a strong commitment to equality and diversity. For further details please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
